Lettie Jean Thompson

Lettie Jean Thompson, age 83 of Hamilton, passed away at Kettering Hospital Hamilton on Thursday, March 7, 2024. Lettie was born in London, Kentucky on September 28, 1940, to Carson Baker and Bessie (Lewis) Benge. She enjoyed playing cards with friends and family, listening to music, dancing, Metamora, Indiana, and most of all enjoyed life. 

Jean is survived by her children, Charles Lee Thompson, Sandra (William) Haas, and Cheryl McWhorter; her grandchildren, William (Katie) Haas, Johnathan Haas, Sarah (Justin) Douglas, Amanda (Kasey) Lawwill, Barbara McWhorter, Christal McWhorter; her great grandchildren, Easton Douglas, William Haas, Rebecca Haas, and Kasey Lee Lawwill; her sister, Donna Ainsworth; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Carson Baker and Bessie Benge; her husband, Charley Thompson.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Larry Peters officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
