May 27th, 1972 - July 25th, 2020
Sandra "Sandy" Goans, age 48 of Blue Ash, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020. Sandra was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 27, 1972 to the late John W. Williams, Sr. and Betty C. Lampp Williams. Sandy worked as a Nail Tech at Beaux Mondes Salon for many years before becoming ill. There she had made many friendships from clients and co-workers alike. She was a kind person who would help anyone, anytime.
She loved animals, especially her dogs Sugie and Frenchie who were part Pug and part Boston Terrier. These two cuddled her sides through many a tough times. She often said Sugie was her Soul-mate. She also spent the last two months welcoming in the newest family member Skeggs, a German Shepard Pup Casey got for his Birthday. Sandy was a Great Mother, Wife, Sister, and Great friend to many. She had a very large Sycamore Aves Sports extended family, and also multiple Select Baseball Teams extended families as well. Sandy was a strong fighter and a 4 year Breast Cancer Survivor. Her faith in God and lots of positive people in her life helped her to get through this time. Sandy was a part of Eastern Cincinnati Young Life Committee, Bible study, Live Strong Group and Day One Matters. She would say," Live for today, not tomorrow." The world is a sadder place for anyone who knew her, but Heaven is now a little better! She will be missed dearly and loved forever by so many.
Sandy is survived by her loving husband, Craig Goans; her son, Casey Goans; and her sister, Geri (Greg) Dunlap; her brothers, John W. (Shannon East) Williams, Jr., David Williams, and Mark Williams; her nieces Sarah (Jeremy) and Hannah; her nephew Adan; as well as many other extended family members and close friends. Sandy will be reunited in heaven with her parents.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 10:00 AM until the time of her Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon at Northern Cincinnati Community Church, 6170 Erwin Simpson Rd., Mason, Ohio. Burial will take place at St. Stephens Cemetery, Hamilton, Ohio on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 2:00 PM. Arrangements entrusted to Brown Dawson Flick of Hamilton, Ohio.
|I am so thankful for the amazing friendship I had with Sandy. She was a gift to everyone who came in contact with her, but the gift was even so much sweeter when spending personal time with her. We laughed, we cried, we prayed, and we rung our cowbells as loud as we could at football games together. She loved like no one i have ever met and was always so kind and generous. Truly an angel and a champ. When she was diagnosed with cancer I watched in amazement how she fought, remained loving and completely positive. She knew what life after death meant and she was ready, but she did not waste one moment that she remained on this earth. Even in her illness she poured herself out to others. She is an amazing woman and will be missed greatly by all her knew her. My prayers are with Craig, Casey, and all your family. We will see Sandy again! She is officially cancer free!|
