James Edward Huff, 75, of Hamilton, passed away on June 18, 2020. James was born August 3, 1944 to the late Minor Huff and Ruby (Hibbard) Knipper. He married the love of his life, Tina (Layton) Huff, in July of 1994.

Jim leaves behind his wife, Tina, his children; Kim (Seth) Marsh, Rick Huff (Angie), Missy (Jeff) Watson, and David Pendergrass (Nicole) as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his step-father, Frank Knipper, his grandsons; Benny and Brian, and great-grandson Weston James.

Jim is a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, having earned the rank of Petty Officer Third Class. During his time in the service, he served aboard the U.S.S. Dewey (DLG-14) and was present for the naval blockade of Cuba.

He was a proud retiree from Avon and Ford Motor Company. What made Jim the happiest was spending time with his family, riding his Harley Davidson's, traveling, fishing, building custom homes, and having his dog by his side.
