David Colwell, age 67, of Hamilton, Ohio passed away on March 9th 2020. He was born August 10, 1952 in Batesville, IN to parents Roy & Betty Colwell. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Brother Darrell Colwell and nephew Michael Arvin. Survived by his sister Lillian Lakes (Kevin); Brother Harold Colwell (Linda); son Joey Robinson and granddaughter Allie Robinson; nephews Jeff Arvin (Toni Day Arvin); Darrell Colwell. Allen Colwell (Jacqueline] and nieces Tara Michelle Colwell-Colvin and Kristina Colwell; and great-nephews and nieces.

Dave was a fighter who struggled with health issues for years with many hospitals visits. He never lost his zeal for life and always fought back.  This time he lost that fight as his immune system could no longer fight back.  His positive attitude and love for others was a testimony on how to deal with adversity.  He loved Jesus and thanked him every day for his life. He will be missed by us as he was always so full of life. His outgoing personality was such that he never met a stranger.

Rest in peace brother we love you. Your loving family.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Tim Mullins officiating.  Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.

Dave will be missed at Greenhills church. He was always outgoing and kind. It was obvious he loved church and I am sure he is in a better place with no more sickness in Heaven.
