Angie was born in Hamilton, Ohio on March 8, 1965 to Thomas and Edith (nee Tackett) Mick. She grew up in Frankfort, Ohio, where she attended Adena High School class of 1983. Angie graduated from Ohio University, where she met the love of her life, Patrick Currier. On June 10, 1989 they wed in Hamilton. She started as a social worker eventually serving as Executive Director. Angie was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Oxford. Angie enjoyed country living, spending time with her animals and, above all, making everyone around her happy.

Angie is survived by her husband of 30 years, Patrick Currier; her children, Kelly, Sarah and Tommy Currier; her mother, Edith (the late Tom) Mick; her mother-in-law, Phoebe (the late Dave McMillen) McKell; her father-in-law, Al Currier; her brother, Tim (Missy) Mick; her sisters, Teresa (Shawn) Fookes, Jenny (Vic) Dennis and Cathy (Mike) Wolf; her sister-in-law, Chris (Pat) Glassburn; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Angie was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Mick; and her father-in-law, Dave McMillen.

Angie and I worked together at Camelot Lake back in the late 1980s. People used to think we were sisters which always made me happy as she was gorgeous. Angie had a beautiful soul and could charm anyone. She was always positive and smiling. You will be missed Angie!

Mike Dreitzler

I went to high school with Angie and her siblings, and have such fond memories of her laughing and having fun, always smiling and enthusiastic. She was kind to everyone she saw, and I always enjoyed seeing her. Love to everyone in Angie’s beautiful family! Her light will shine forever.

Renee Tackett

Angie was my first cousin. I spent many happy weekends with her and her four siblings, along with my wonderful aunt and uncle, at their home in the country when I was 16/17 years old. After losing my father at 16 years of age, my cousins, Aunt and uncle provided a safe and loving environment for me that I cherish to this day. Angie was the middle child and loved pleasing others even then. She was a delight to tease as a 10 year old with a loving heart and a very kind soul. That heart and soul continued as she grew into a beautiful adult. Angie got her strength and kindness from her parents and passed on those traits to her three children. I will always remember and love that sparkling child. The world is a little less bright without her in it. But I know she is with her dad and her Lord, we will see her again one day. All my love, your cousin Renee.
