Shannon Yana Zecher, age 32 of Hamilton, passed away at University of Cincinnati along with her daughter, Addison Mae Michelle Bicknell, on Monday, October 21, 2019 after losing her battle to addiction. Shannon was born in Hamilton, Ohio on May 25, 1987 to Douglas Zecher and Michelle Hatfield Zecher. Shannon graduated from Lakota West High School in 2005, where she was involved in competitive cheerleading. She started her love of dance at Carol Young’s. Shannon went on a mission trip where she built wells and spent time with the children and enjoyed volunteering locally.
Shannon is survived by her parents, Doug and Michelle Zecher; brother, Tyler Zecher; father of Addison, Rick Bicknell and grandpa, Dale Hatfield. Shannon was preceded in death by her much loved grandma, Flora Hatfield and grandparents Evelyn and Howard Issenmann.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, OH. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Woodhaven Residential Treatment Center, 1 Fransican Way Dayton, OH.
