Theodore "Ted" G. Hensley, age 76 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Thursday, September 12, 2019. Theodore was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 6, 1943 to Benjamin Hensley and Mabel Roberts Hensley. Ted was a Vietnam US. Army Veteran. He was a lifetime member of the AMVETs, Eagles, Monkeys, VFW and American Legion. In 2006 Ted retired from General Motors and then went on to drive for Easter Seals and then Goodwill.  

Ted is survived by his wife, Sue Hensley; sister, Soundra (Jim) Robinson; step children, Toni Klare, Brian (Mickie) Hustead, Larry (Kim) Webb, Darrell (Jeana) Wilson, Donna (Arthur) Smith and Connie (Eddie) Hollin; 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and 4 nieces.

Ted was preceded in death by his first wife, Hazel Hensley; parents, Mabel and Benjamin Hensley; sister, Jerrie Deem; step son, Earl Webb Jr.; grandson, Randall Smallwood.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 16, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 12:00 PM with Gary Beard of Rock of Salvation Pentecostal Church officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.

Frank and I would like to send our sympathy to the family. We loved Ted was such a good and gentle man So sorry that we were not able to make the visitation.. Lots of hugs and prayers to the family! Love you much!

Sorry to hear about Ted. I worked with him all of his years at the GM parts warehouse. I was his benefits rep. and I live in Hamilton. Ted was very well liked by fellow workers at GM.
