Gone too soon but never to be forgotten.
To the family of: Joseph Anglo. This is a sad time for the family. The Bible gives us hope. Act 24:15 states: There will be a resurrection of the dead. Titus 1:2 states: God can not lie,
I met Mr. Joe DeAngelo when I was a student in marketing and first became a DECA member 38 years ago. Ohio DECA has become my second family because of individuals like Joe. He was so supportive of me when I was a student officer and later when I began my teaching career. It is because of individuals like Joe that I chose to make DECA such an important part of my life. I will miss the warm hugs and cheerful greetings from D. I can't even imagine a state or international conference without Joe DeAngelo. He is such an important member of the Ohio DECA family. My condolences to his wife Kathy, son Joe, and all of his students, both past and present. He will forever remain in our hearts.

I never had Mr. D during my four years at Badin, but I can assure you, there was an absolute radiance to his presence. He felt a resounding love for the Badin community, My peers who had him regarded him highly as well. I will always remember him popping into a classroom to discuss something with a teacher and greeting us all with an exuberant "Peace of the Lord be with you!" Even years after, I'd give him a friendly hello when he would come through at work. He was a genuine, positive and passionate man, and the Badin community has lost one of its most valued members. Rest well and peacefully, Mr. DeAngelo. My condolences to your family, and the rest of the Badin family as well.

Hearing this news was heartbreaking. Mr. D was a great man and teacher. I'll always remember him making us memorize our social security numbers in class, we of course had no idea how useful that would be. I loved running into him around town. He always took time to hear about my life and my kids and he always remembered you, your parents, grandparents, siblings, cousins and even who your aunts and uncles were, pretty amazing considering the number of students he saw pass through the halls of Badin. Sending love and prayers to the family and to Mr. McCabe.

Joe was a teacher, a mentor, a friend and a fellow New Yorker. He will forever hold a place in my heart !
Joe was a special friend to my mother-in-law, who passed away just one day before Joe. He and his wife Kathy and their friend Tim McCabe treated my mother-in-law like family, taking her out to eat and out for Sunday drives. Rest in heaven, Joe, among all the other saints. Thanks for bringing a taste of heaven to earth.
Joe was one my favorite clients/friends that I've grown to know and love the past 18 years working at the Crowne Plaza. Joe was the best. His smile was infectious and he gave the best big bear hugs. Peace & love
