Sandra S. McDaniel, age 76 of Hamilton, passed away at UC Medical Center on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 31, 1942 to George and Mary Jane (Youtsey) Hatton. Sandra was a 1961 graduate of Notre Dame. On March 23, 1973 in Hamilton she married Robert "Bruce" McDaniel and he preceded her in death in 2011. She was employed as an adult group home manager for Butler County Board of MRDD and an activities director at Westover Retirement Community.
She is survived by three children, William (Vicki) Riley, Lori (John) Reinhardt, and Janna Riley; two siblings, Randy (Vicki) Hatton and Linda Browning; four grandchildren, Katie Riley, Autumn (Andrew) Fritsch, Jessica Reinhardt, and William "Billy" Riley; great grandson, Paxton Riley; and friend, Jessica Yaw. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Robert Hatton; and special friend, Bill Yaw.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 1:00 PM with Dr. John H. H. Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Animal Adoption Foundation, 2480 Ross Millville Rd, Hamilton, OH 45013.
