Paul A. Herbers Sr., age 86 of Hamilton, passed away at Bradford Place on Saturday, June 9, 2018 . Paul was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 13, 1931 to Harry John Herbers and Frances Anna Mengelkamp Herbers. Paul retired from Champion International Papers. He served in the Airforce in the Korean War 1950-1954. Paul "Bugsy" was a Hamilton Police officer and a Dog Warden for New Miami. Paul also was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Hamilton.     

Paul is survived by his children, Rose Kuykendall, Donna Cozart, Debra Thompson, Paul A. Herbers Jr., Mary Longoria, Tom Burke, Mike Herbers, Janet Imfeld, Charles Herbers and Sherry Barnes; grandchildren, Dwayne Weber, Crystal Barnes, Dave Barnes, William A. Kuykendall, Chad Taylor plus many other grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Joan Eckert; numerous nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Frances Herbers; wife, Patty E. Herbers; siblings, Leroy Herbers, Dorothy Wimmers, Mary Goins, Lucille Geier, Julia Hoelle and Rita Bruck; daughter, Sharron Herbers.   

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Rick Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Bradford Place and Hospice of Cincinnati for the care they showed Paul.
