Betty Jane Giuliano, age 96 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Sunday, June 3, 2018. Betty was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 22, 1922 to Walter and Helen Schuppig. On November 23rd, 1946, Betty married Philip Giuliano at Saint Cecelia of Cincinnati. Betty retired from Elder-Beerman in 1989. She was a parishioner at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church in Hamilton. Betty was a member, as well as serving as president, of Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.
Betty is survived by her children, Michael (Darlene) Giuliano, Gary (Linda) Giuliano, Dennis (Jayne) Giuliano, Jeffrey (Susan) Giuliano and Donna (Tim) Gillespie; her grandchildren, Gary (Patti) Giuliano Jr., Gina (Steve) Brittain, Joe (Alison) Giuliano, Eddie (Karen) Giuliano, Emily Giuliano, Matthew Giuliano, Christopher (Becca) Giuliano, David (Sandra) Giuliano, Katie (J.C.) Whitacre, Sarah (Nathan) Hursell, Susan (fiancé Tyler Burdine) Gillespie, and Adam Gillespie; and her great-grandchildren, Becca (Joe), Libbi, Jacob, Ally, Natalie, Brooke, Emma, Jessica, Makenna, Konner, Kelsie, Andrew, Mia, Benjamin, Anthony and Tiffany; her great great-granddaughter, Evelyn, as well as three future great great-grandchildren on the way. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Philip Giuliano; her parents; and her siblings, Evelyn Menke, Raymond Schuppig and Marcella Schuppig.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 224 Dayton St., Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Michael Pucke celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Badin High School or Hospice of Cincinnati.
