Charlotte A. Wright, age 70 of Hamilton, passed away at Mercy Hospital on Thursday, May 3, 2018. Charlotte was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 19, 1947 to Howard Raymond Smith and Eva (Lovins) Smith. On June 8, 1963 in Hamilton, she married the love of her life Joseph Wright. They had a true and amazing love story that was seen by anyone that was around them.  They were inseparable and still holding hands until the day she passed.  Charlotte was a loyal and active member of Millville Ave. Church of God. She served at the Church Meal Center for 8 years feeding the homeless and the community. Charlotte was also considered "Mom" to all at the Cincinnati Dayton Kroger Marketing Area for 30 years, retiring in 2009.  She enjoyed golfing and power shopping with her daughter.  Charlotte survived breast cancer with dignity and grace; and her amazing strength, courage and beautiful spirit were evidenced in everything that she did, and she was an inspiration to those around her.  Always with a smile, Charlotte would say "God’s got this".

Charlotte is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joseph Wright; her two children, Deborah (Donald) Miller and Joseph (Karen) Wright Jr.; one grandchild, Nicholas Moeller; one brother, Jack (Linda) Smith; sister in law, Victoria (Johnny) Gumm; her best friend and confidante, Bernice Clemmons; her beloved yorkie, PJ; among many other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at Millville Ave. Church of God, 1369 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, May  8, 2018 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Tim Cole of Millville Ave. Church of God officiating.  Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May  8, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Millville Ave. Church of God.  Memorial contributions can be made to either Millville Ave. Church of God or the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

I am so sorry for everyone who knows and loves, Charlotte. We worked together for years and she always had the answer for any question. She talked about her family with such pride and deep love and affection. Please know what a blessing she was to so many of us.

I had only know you a little while. But I enjoyed our talks. Rest in Peace
