Charles M. Neal, age 86 of Hamilton went to be with the Lord surrounded by his family on Saturday, April 21, 2018. Charles was born in Irvine, Kentucky on September 24, 1931 to Andrew Jackson Neal and Mary Lee (Riddle) Neal.  Charles was a United States Marine Corps Veteran serving from 1951-1954 as a Marine Sgt.  On April 30, 1955 in Irvine, KY, he married Lillia Mae Willis.  He retired from Fort Hamilton Hospital as a Maint. Supervisor after 28 years in 1995. Charles was a member of the Hugh L. Bates Masonic Lodge and a life member of the AMVETS.  Charles also owned and operated a successful Refrigeration and Air Conditioning business for many years.  He loved the outdoors, hunting rabbits and squirrels; and also gardening. 

Charles is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lillia Mae Neal; his children, Charles Eric (Sandra) Neal, Jeffrey Lane (Michelle) Neal, Mark Edward (Lisa) Neal; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 9 siblings; and his faithful dog, Lady. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; and 7 siblings.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 1:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Hospice of Hamilton.
