April 16th, 1948 - March 11th, 2018
Richard A. Kuhl, age 69 of Hamilton, passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Sunday, March 11, 2018. Richard was born in Hamilton, Ohio on April 16, 1948 to Richard B. Kuhl and Charlotte A. Brodwolf Kuhl. He attended St. Veronica Catholic School and graduated from Hamilton Catholic High School. Rick then went on to graduate from Miami University Oxford in 1970. He started working in utilities for the City of Hamilton. Rick became a City Planner in 1989. He was active in the Hamilton Jaycees, Greater Hamilton Civic Theater, enjoyed playing softball and volleyball for the City of Hamilton. Rick also played on several City of Hamilton golf leagues. He married Pam Thieken Nov 20, 1989 in Hamilton, Ohio.
Richard is survived by his wife, Pam Kuhl; children, Emily and Danny Kuhl; step-son, Michael Porrazzo; step-daughter, Stephanie Porrazzo; sisters, Amy (Michael) Bowling and Sister Deb Kuhl; brothers, Christopher Kuhl, Ken Kuhl and Michael (Divina) Kuhl; niece and nephews, Jacob Kuhl and Lucy and Mitchell Bowling; step-grandchildren, Austin and Mercedes Gregory, Drayce Porrazzo. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Richard B. and Charlotte A. Kuhl.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 224 Dayton St., Hamilton, OH, on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Rob Muhlenkamp officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.

|Iâ€™m so sorry to hear about Rick passed away. He and my mom worked together as city planners. He was amazing guy and he was a goofy guy to be around with. Always will be missed but not forgotten. Rick was a 2nd cousin and fellow class-mate at Hamilton Catholic and Miami U. He was witty and intelligent. Had many great discussions @ Miami. Have regrets that we parted ways after graduation. May God's peace be upon him and all of his family! JMJ
