June 28th, 1944 - February 9th, 2018
Arnold L. "Arnie" Adams Jr., age 73 of Hamilton, passed away at home on Friday, February 9, 2018. Arnie was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 28, 1944 to Arnold Sr. and Wilma (Parsley) Adams. He enjoyed gardening, farming, and spending time with his family. Arnie served in the United States Army from 1965-1967 and was a member of the AMVETS Post 1983. On July 17, 1981 he married Barb Murphy.
Arnie is survived by his wife of 36 years, Barb Adams; his children, Chris (Jamie) Adams, Kelli (Chad) Chenoweth, and Katie Adams; his grandchildren, Kathleen, Whitney, and Rebecca Adams, Lilly and Finn Chenoweth; his great grandson, Jonathan Beckett; his siblings, Jane (Greg) Isaacs, Barb Schick, Jennifer Hardy, and Dennis James (Shari) Adams. Arnie was preceded in death by his parents. Arnie’s Family would like to thank the offices of Dr. Greg Colangelo and Dr. Lynn Wagner, the critical care staff at Mercy Fairfield, the Jamestown Rehabilitation Center, and a special thank you to his nurses, Noel Lakes and Marquetta Shannon for their care during his illness.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Jonathan Bradner officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 12, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
