When Debby and I were in high school, I sometimes would be at her home. It is here that her father introduced me to chili and cornbread. I have never tasted this delicious fare before. It was great! Debby’s father also let me try one of his dill pickles. It was the most dilly thing I have ever tasted. With such inspiration, the following summer I grew my own dill. I, of course, didn’t know how to make dill pickles. But, the fragrance was wonderful. It’s with these most happy of memories that I extend my deepest sympathies to the Williams family. Such a wonderful man will be truly missed.
My Uncle Herbert ... whether he was telling a story, or a joke, or playing a joke on you ... or taking care of his family, including nieces and nephews, he was true to who he was. Thanks to his family for sharing him with Aunt Faye and me. He is missed already.

I knew Herbert's son, Butch in the Army. Butch always spoke highly of his father. I am very sad for the family's loss.
Mr. Williams was one of my first dental patients after I graduated dental hygiene school and started working in Fairfield, Ohio. He was a very dear, considerate man. He always gave me a $5 tip after he got his teeth cleaned and told me to get a pizza for lunch. Years later, I reconnected with him again at Ross Dental Group. It was so good to be able to see him again. I am so sorry to hear he passed away.
A good man.
