John was a friend of mine. He married one of my very best friends, Donna Johns-Weisenberger. New him for over 52 years. A fellow Armed Forces Veteran we shared that bond as well. Always had a smile, always had good things to say about others; he was, and remains, "the standard" for living a Christian Life. He will be sadly missed, but is already in Heaven with that perpetual smile as he is in the presence of all his family, friends, neighbors and Veterans with whom he served. He is also in the presence of Jesus whom he dearly loved. Our prayers remain with Donna, his beloved wife, his children, grand children and great grandchildren. God's perpetual promise is kept once again ... that one day we will be healed, have a new body, and will be in the presence of Jesus. We Love you Jack. Thanks for being our friend. We knew him as Jack and we are sorry for Donna and the family on their loss. He was a nice person.
