June 9th, 1955 - July 29th, 2017
Steve Kniceley, age 62 of Hamilton, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017. Steve was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 9, 1955 to Gene and Thelma (Haag) Kniceley. In Bainbridge, OH on February 18, 1973, Steve married the love of his life, Diane Edwards. Steve was the owner of H&K Drywall and later worked at Wyatt’s Hauling. He was an avid camper at Heritage Hills Campground, where he seemed to be the happiest when he was mowing his friends and neighbor’s grass and sitting on his front porch enjoying his time there amongst friends and family. Steve was a member of Greenhills Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Mullins, and when he was at the campground, he attended church services at Heritage Hills with Rev. Ray Bass. Steve was a dedicated husband, loving father, and he especially loved being a grandpa to Jeremy and Nicole, and more recently, a pap-pap to his baby girl, Kaylee Tomlynn.
Steve is survived by his wife of 44 years, Diane Kniceley; his children, Steven (Tara) Kniceley and Tanya Wyatt; his grandchildren, Jeremy (Desiree) Wyatt and Nicole Wyatt; his great grandbaby, Kaylee Tomlynn Wyatt; his brother, Kenny Kniceley; and many other family members and friends. Steve was preceded in death by his parents; and his son in law, Tommy "712" Wyatt.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tim Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
